Fall Actions for Conserving Beneficial Insects

Many pollinators and other beneficial insects require plant debris like fallen leaves, pithy woody stems, and flower stalks as winter habitat. Discover and check off actions you can take in your garden or green space this fall to support them.
Organic Lawn Care

An organic lawn is managed without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. However, it does not mean discontinuing basic lawn care maintenance practices. If your lawn sustained summer damage from the drought, overseeding should be done in the fall.
